Dia del Amigo

The idea for Friend's Day goes back to Argentine teacher, musician, and dentist Enrique Febbraro, who lobbied to turn the anniversary of the first moon landing into an international day of friendship,[1] along with his Rotary Club de Once, Buenos Aires. He argued that on this particular day, the whole world had been friends of the three astronauts. The first official recognition of the day came with decree No. 235/79 by the government of Buenos Aires Province, which authorized the celebration and gave it official nature.

If one were to ask Eve how she views herself, the beautiful Los Angeles resident would answer, “I am sexy, smart, and always excel and do my best.”

It’s that same drive which propelled Eve to enter the 2007 Diva Search and become not only one of the final eight contestants, but the winner of the competition. No stranger to the excitement of a large crowd as a Los AngelesClippers Spirit Dancer, she now brings her unique strength and enthusiasm to WWE.

Eve is hardly a slouch in the brains department either, as she’s adept at solving Rubik’s Cubes whenever the mood strikes her. Also, in addition to studying Gracie Jiu-Jitsu with Rener Gracie, she assisted in designing Gracia university

To help keep her body in shape, she enjoys dancing, running, aerobics and kickboxing. And if you really want to get this Divas Champion's temperature rising (pay attention, boys), the key to Eve’s heart is a night of salsa dancing, with intelligent conversation mixed in.

It’s easy to see why one might consider Eve to be a strong, beautiful woman with a sunny disposition, though be warned; she’s the first one to admit that if something or someone rubs her the wrong way, “I do have a bit of a temper.”

When most people think of Alex Shelley today, they usually think of either his matches in TNA's X Division or his exploits with his "Paparazzi Cam". However, Alex Shelley is one of the most well-traveled wrestlers in the industry today, complementing his time in TNA with appearances in Ring of Honor, Border City Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling and various other independent promotions.

A wrestling fan since the age of eleven, and a former art student at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan, Detroit's Patrick Martin trained under Truth Martini and Breyer Wellington before enrolling in Scott D'Amore's Can-Am Wrestling School in January 2003. While training with D'Amore, Martin was also influenced by the teachings of Joe E. Legend. He debuted in Michigan in March 2002, earning a grand total of $8.35 for a night's work. Martin, now known as Alex Shelley (the name coming from a combination of the names of a character from A Clockwork Orange and a punk rock singer), rebounded from a major injury suffered during a match againstPetey Williams to wrestle in IWA Mid-South for six months before moving on to Combat Zone Wrestling and Ring of Honor in June 2003.

Shelley split time between CZW and ROH for the rest of 2003 and much of 2004, alternating between teaming with and feuding with Jimmy Jacobs. Shelley's career suffered another temporary setback when he suffered a broken collarbone in training and missed two months of acton beginning in February 2004.

In May 2004, Shelley joined forces with Jack Evans, Austin Arie

The Rooneys, both 23, spent £300 to hire a 4D ultrasound scanning machine earlier this month so loved ones could watch their baby’s movements inside the womb.

They used a company that offers an at-home ultrasound service where an expert sonographer takes the machine to the parents’ home. Such packages usually come with souvenir pictures and a DVD.

Friends said the event was a “low-key” affair with only a few close family members and friends.

“Most expectant mothers go and have their scans done in private,” a source close to the Rooneys told the Daily Mail.

“But Colleen and Wayne couldn’t wait to show off baby Roo. The 4D scanning machines give a really clear picture. You can see all the baby’s features and movements. You would even have been able to see it yawning or sticking its tongue out,” said the source.

“Colleen and Wayne found the whole thing really exciting. They haven’t stopped telling people about it and now they’re even more excited about the baby being born.”

The Rooneys, who met at school, married last summer and are expecting their baby in September.
